Reason for Starting: I started pentathlon through the Pony Club. In 2001 in went to a pony club training camp as part of the 2001 World Championships, there I was put in contact with fencing clubs. I then learnt to fence and did my first pentathlon not very successfully- I only won 3 out of 60 fencing bouts! My second pentathlon was at Millfield which I won so I decided to carry on pentathlon
