All arrived back in the UK safe and with all equipment (non lost by airline) this morning. The camp was declared by the coaches and athletes to have been technically demanding and very worthwhile. The emphasis being on getting as much fencing experience as possible for the Youth Programme Athletes. With 25 - 30 fencers at each session we certainly got the experience we went for.

The German Federation, coaches and athletesmade us very welcome. The Berlin training centre is undergoing a major refurbishment and the new centre will be open in June this year. It will comprise of fencing salle, range, on-suite rooms for visiting teams, IT suite and physio rooms etc.... this coupled with existing pool (indoor and outdoor) and riding facilities will make it an excellent overseas venue.

Next planned fencing camp is 7th - 12th April
