Grey is spreading rapidly within the coaching community. Scalps of many of my colleagues have a silver shine. No wonder those who has a gift of determination and drive stay longer. Others see the mountain to climb and like number of athletes drift away. Coaching development should become the UIPM priority as we speak if we are serious about the future of our sport. Looking around I also noticed that ladies field went for makeover during the winter. Hair cuts, colours, accessories and new looks I am impressed. It brings up an issue of an athlete stars in Pentathlon to our attention. Admittedly we do not have internationally in media terms recognised athlete(s). That is evidence that we are not doing enough to maximise potential of intelligent, good looking - the most universal Olympic athletes and to promote effectively fantastic sport of Modern Pentathlon.
